Eventus, Software for Event Studies

Cowan Research LC produces Eventus® software for financial research, education and consulting. Eventus performs state-of-the-art event study estimation and testing using the CRSP stock database or other stock return data and provides fast event-oriented data retrieval from the CRSP stock database. Eventus software is available for Windows, Linux and Solaris, and also is available for use through WRDS (Wharton Research Data Services).

Professor Arnie Cowan will present a tutorial on Eventus at the Midwest Finance Association annual meeting in Las Vegas. Please plan to attend! The session is Friday, February 26, from 1.15 p.m- 3.15 p.m. Arnie will present tips on beginning and advanced usage of Eventus, provide an overview of new features in Eventus 9, and respond to questions from session attendees. The session will be applicable to both Eventus for WRDS and Eventus for Windows. All MFA 2010 conference registrants are invited to attend the session.
